Disengaged: Student Voices on Our Youth Crisis
Disengaged: Student Voices on Our Youth Crisis is an examination of the urgent problem of dangerously disengaged young people. Our talk will delve into the origins of this crisis of policy, agency, and authority in our schools and classrooms, and suggest a solution inspired by our years in school. By presenting the perspectives of three students who have lived this reality—and who have worked for its reform—we hope to offer a unique viewpoint that is rarely allowed into the discourse.
