Jonah Martinez Goldstein is a student who has long been devoted to education reform. From his earliest years in high school he has shown a profound discomfort with the prevailing pedagogical model, and has consistently worked to chip away at the harmful traditions of the school system that he believes hold students back. He was raised in Upstate New York and attends Williams College as a freshman, currently studying history and philosophy. His scholastic interests are far-ranging, but his animating focus has long been activism around issues of education reform and social justice. By drawing connections between these two worlds, he has worked to help better the situations of his peers by reforming the ways in which students are educated. It is his belief that common sense education reform can help to usher in a stronger America.
