Arnav Kannan

Arnav Kannan was born in East Lansing, Michigan in 2000 and moved to Albany, NY in 2002. As the son of an academic professor, Arnav possesses an innate intellectual curiosity and passion for exploring the unknown. This is emphasized by the fact that he began reading into philosophy and history at a young age. Throughout the years, Arnav has delved deeply into the topics that he is most passionate about such as young adult psychology, peak performance psychology, positive psychology, mindfulness, awareness, gratitude, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Due to his interests, Arnav is very interested in the role that technology plays in society, and how it affects people (especially kids and teens) on a psychological, physical, and social basis. Arnav feels committed to sharing his wisdom on how we can make the world a much better place through education reform. He will be attending Washington University in St. Louis next year where he will study business as a Distinguished Scholar.
