#K12Trades
Connecting Students to the Trade Industry
For decades, college acceptance has been seen as an ideal end goal for high school students. K-12 education has focused on “college readiness” and students who want to pursue the trades are often overlooked. Career and Technical Education (CTE) is making a comeback and there are many opportunities, but students aren’t aware of them. Innovative programming , and outreach to school districts can bridge the gap between schools and industry and which benefits everyone.
