The credentials that students earn must, at a minimum, provide a positive return on investment: The economic benefits exceed the costs to receive them, and students leave higher education better off financially than they would otherwise be. Bringing together panelists from 2-year/4-year institutions and Texas employers, we will discuss the importance of enhancing the relationship between higher education and industry to create equitable opportunities for students to receive credentials of value.
