College admissions is a billion-dollar business characterized by exclusivity and built on a false assumption. The majority of U.S. colleges admit at least two-thirds of applicants, which means that students have much more opportunity to pursue higher education than the narrative suggests. What if we redesigned the admissions process to put the power in students’ hands?
