Who Is American Today? Digital Storytelling
Who is American Today? asks students to use digital storytelling to reflect about their experiences in America, including issues such as race, immigration, social opportunity and the American dream. In this presentation we discuss how digital storytelling can promote creative citizenship by connecting cultural and creative activities with social, political, or civic goals. We seek to advance critical digital making’s role in today’s education illustrated by the 4-year experience of our project.
