Managing Difficult Conversations on Bias & Equity

The central idea of equity and inclusion in learning spaces is almost universally shared by educators and policymakers. Yet, the embodiment of inclusive practices, the storytelling that is central to the identity of marginalized groups, and the policies that promote belonging for all students, have proven to be controversial. This session will delve into the real-world experiences of advocating for equity in public education where doing so is particularly divisive and politically charged.
