Creating Ecosystems for Civic Engagement for Youth
In an age of polarized politics, partisan battles over how schools teach our country’s history of racism highlight the critical role education plays in shaping the mindsets of young people and how they perceive their role in our democracy. How then can we help schools and communities proactively create spaces where young people understand current events, experience their power to drive change, and learn to work together as civically-engaged leaders to build a more equitable future for all?
