The global pandemic has accelerated digital transformation and automation across all sectors, transforming every aspect of our personal and professional lives including how we work and learn. Knowing how to design, use, and govern technologies such as AI/ML in a responsible, humane, and impactful way is needed, now more than ever. To realize the value of AI for all, we need to shift from concentrating knowledge of and capacity for AI in a few select hubs like Silicon Valley to upskilling a global AI community with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. We all need to be AI literate, so that we can become responsible users and creators of AI-enabled solutions.
