Emily Reid
Emily Reid is a computer scientist, educator, and nonprofit leader. Emily is the Interim CEO at AI4ALL, where she and her team are democratizing access to AI education and developing the diverse AI leaders of the future. Emily joined AI4ALL as VP in 2018 to launch and grow AI4ALL’s Open Learning program. Emily previously held roles as the Director of Education at Girls Who Code, Researcher at Columbia’s Center for Computational Learning Systems, and Senior Cyber Security Engineer at the MITRE Corporation. Through her consulting business, Emily has also independently facilitated workshops, created curriculum, and done strategic educational advising for clients such as U.C. Berkeley’s Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity, The U.S. State Department, and the U.S. Embassy in Morocco. Emily holds an M.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in Natural Language Processing from Columbia University, and a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Tufts University.
