Redefining Digital Literacy: Algorithms & You

Teaching digital literacy becomes more important each year, but without learning about algorithms, students are missing the opportunity to be metacognitive about their online and offline interactions and how they contribute to systemic injustices that harm marginalized communities. In this session, learn about algorithmic bias, algorithmic injustices, and a few ways to teach about this extremely important and timely topic.
