Ayin Morales is a 7th grade ELA educator and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Teaching, Leadership, and Cultural Competency at the University of Iowa’s School of Graduate Education. In addition, she continues her role as Director of Pedagogy and Community Education at the digital ethics think-tank, the Institute for Digital Humanity (IDH). At the IDH, Ayin has worked with the Little Earth Native American Community to promote digital literacy, the Anti-Defamation League to write and produce curriculum on algorithmic bias, and works closely with Indiana University to incorporate enhancing and engaging ways to teach digital ethics to undergraduate and post-graduate students. Ayin Morales recently served as the Executive Director of Multicultural Programming at North Central University in downtown Minneapolis and was part of the team that hosted the George Floyd Memorial at NCU in June of 2020.
