Through the lens of education, we’ll explore gender equity in education and beyond, as well as the celebration of female empowerment and innovation. All registered attendees are welcome to attend!

In honoring the work and contributions of powerful women at SXSW EDU’s International Women’s Day Celebration, we would like to recognize Roseana Auten (1962-2021), the spouse of SXSW Co-Founder and CEO Roland Swenson. Her legacy and fighting spirit is felt in all the steps we’ve taken to return to an in-person event. Roseana will forever be remembered as a unique and fiercely independent woman of substance.
