Why the Arts Belong in Business Schools

Arts programming, initiatives, and residencies at business schools are not the norm, and were virtually unheard of a few years ago, but things are changing. Increasingly, business schools are enlisting the arts to complement standard curriculum. The arts engage right-brain thinking, which leads to human connection, communication, and creativity, in turn enhancing highly-valued idea generation and creative dialogue — all skill desired in the business and by companies.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
