Navigating Research Uncertainty with UI/UX Design

The science of learning commonly concerns student outcomes. However, it also applies to how practitioners process data—often, in the face of incomplete information or uncertainty. Designing, conducting, and acting on findings from research can require a level of statistical literacy that many educators don’t possess. In this workshop, we will explore the challenge of designing online tools that can help non-technical audiences collect and use evaluation data to inform their decision making.
