Mikia Manley
Mikia Manley (MPP, University of Chicago) is driven by a strong belief that the only evidence worth having is actionable evidence. As a senior analyst at Mathematica, she focuses on developing innovative, user-centered methods for discussing research and building capacity for decision-makers to be data leaders. Her work is informed by behavioral economics, human-centered design, and a passion for creating purposeful visuals, data storytelling, and easy-to-use tools. Manley believes that, by working collaboratively, researchers and practitioners can co-create toolkits that empower better decision making. Her recent work has focused on improving the Rapid Cycle Evaluation (RCE) Coach through user testing and improved UI/UX, as well as incorporating user feedback into the creation of new features. She has also been working closely with education partners to conduct applied research and build their capacity to interpret and act on evaluation results.
