Empowering English Learners in Challenging Times
Given today’s complex and challenging geopolitical climate, many English Learners (ELs) feel they’re under more pressure than ever. As the nation’s population of ELs steadily grows, educators must identify social and emotional learning (SEL) strategies to address the needs of these students. In this panel, participants will explore various frameworks for empowering ELs and their families, particularly those who have undergone trauma as a result of migration or conflict.
