Online education has lots to learn from key attributes of the blockchain and sharing economy, namely accountability due to public visibility and feedback, decentralized control, and oversight from administrators. This session will include research into how these characteristics improve learning outcomes when used correctly, such as how accountability via feedback from peers significantly improves course completion rates.
