Humanities & EdTech: The Case of Shakespeare
Has Shakespeare needed to catch up with the modern classroom, or has the classroom finally caught up with the potential of Shakespeare? From the perspectives of a content creator for myshakespeare.com and two teachers of Shakespeare, this talk will discuss what we’ve learned about the power of multimedia, interactivity, and diversity in the teaching of Shakespeare and will make the argument that there’s powerful potential in teaching classics like Shakespeare with edtech tools.
