Leveraging Voices of Doubly Disadvantaged Students

Mar 4, 2019

3:30pm – 4:30pm CT

Higher education leaders and policymakers are faced with the challenge of closing equity gaps. What’s missing from the debate is the voice of the students, and the experiences they have as they navigate the college experience. This session will feature a panel of high-achieving, low-income college students, and graduates who will discuss the challenge of being “doubly disadvantaged” at selective institutions and will share their feedback on what colleges can do to help support this population.
