U Good? Empower Students to Manage Chronic Stress
In addition to the challenges of navigating puberty and adolescence, students in marginalized communities face daily harsh realities such as, homelessness, community violence, discrimination, food insecurity, and feeling unsafe. Educators and communites can buffer these stressors, strengthen resilience, and keep students on a healthy trajectory by advancing strategies that prevent and manage chronic stress as an alternative to disciplinary intervention.
