Closing the Gap: Implementing PBL in LD Classrooms

In our research of project-based learning, we found that children with speech and language disabilities and special education classrooms were typically left out of the conversation. Using this framework, we set out to immerse our students in a learning environment that is language-rich, community-based, and meaningful. This school year, we continued to explore best practice by integrating project-based learning in a specialized school for children with language delays and learning differences.
