Personal Sensors: Seeing Through Engineered Eyes

Human augmentation via the vast knowledge base that is the internet is only the beginning. Students at The University of Texas at Austin are beginning to craft personal sensors that can greatly augment what we can see, hear, taste, smell, and touch—paving the way to a fuller integration with cyberspace. These panelists will discuss both the future of personal sensors, and how to launch programs that encourage discovery and entrepreneurship in students.
