Math for America
Explore the impact and characteristics of professional development communities for (Master) teachers of mathematics and science. Learn how focused collaborative learning opportunities for teachers at all levels increases retention and efficacy. Megan Roberts will present ideas and research that support design of these community models. Examples will illustrate how peer-to-peer interactions and content-specific collaboration can transform learning and advance teachers’ focus on their craft.
