Student Perspectives: Equitable Solutions in Rural Education

Despite their immense potential, resource limitations in rural districts often restrict students' access to diverse college and career learning experiences compared to their urban and suburban counterparts. In this session, students will share their experiences and perspectives, delving into the realities faced by rural students in South Texas and exploring the impact of innovative approaches the region is embracing to broaden opportunities and address inequities for students through collaborative efforts with other districts, higher education institutions, and local workforce entities.
