Chinara Hunter

Coach Chinara Hunter is from Houston, Texas and currently serves in leadership at her alma mater, the legendary Jack Yates High School! Known for her laser-focused attitude, Coach Hunter has been on a collision course with hard work and faith since childhood. That mindset carried her through the difficulties of adolescence as an “at risk” teenager. Graduating from high school in 2001, and earning a Bachelor’s Degree  in 2005 while one parent battled addiction. Coach Hunter remembers the exact moment in time when she chose coaching as her career path; since then she’s developed her passions of building up communities  through shared experiences, helping families to secure post-secondary educational opportunities, sports, community service, and most of all, sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
