Maria Laws
Maria Laws brings her wide range of K12, university, and adult learning expertise to drive innovation in edtech tools to support L&D for our global workforce. As Vice President of Learning & Design at Ahura AI, she designs AI-centered learning innovations that drive positive change for communities and learners worldwide. She contributes to research at Stanford University's Women's Leadership Innovation Lab and is the Lead Strategist for A4AI, an international non-profit dedicated to developing the next generation of Black AI leaders. Maria has led research and L&D initiatives at Lockheed Martin, Genentech, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and Harvard. Additionally, she has served as a K12 teacher and professor at UC Berkeley, bringing a unique perspective to her work in AI and education. Maria is passionate about arts, creativity, and innovation and sits on the Board of Directors for Art for Oakland Kids.
