Kristin Brooks

Kristin Brooks, Ed.D. is the Senior College Completion Program Manager at the Commission on Higher Education in South Carolina. Prior to this role, Kristin spent her 10-year career in higher education working at small public and private institutions on the east coast. Her experiences at those institutions range from Transfer Specialist to full-time faculty to Director of Student Success. Her commitment to student success is seen in the creation of articulation agreements and partnerships, classroom teaching, and development of FYE, Peer Mentor and Academic Recovery programs. Embarking on a diverse career track in higher education speaks to her beliefs about cross-functional collaboration and the sharing of data/information to enhance the student experience and develop holistic teams.
