Vidhya Mani

Vidhya is an accomplished Bharatanatyam teacher, dancer and Choreographer who began her foray into dance at the age of 4 under highly regarded teachers in India. She has since performed globally and was awarded coveted titles of “Singar Mani” and “Nritya Shiromani” and recognized as a graded artist by Doordarshan. Vidhya has choreographed Bharatanatyam dances to genres spanning western classical to pan-Indian music. Motivated by her passion to teach, Vidhya founded NRITYA VIDHYA NIKETAN in Austin in 2014. She has inspired thousands of students with passion and dedication for this art form from over two decades of teaching at her dance school and in workshops at community events, schools, music days, public libraries, and more recently for senior citizens affected by Parkinson’s disease.
