Tara Srinivasan
Tara is a sophomore at Westlake High. She is a passionate dancer with a decade of cross-cultural performances from Bharatanatyam to numerous western dance forms. As one of the youngest to accomplish an Arangetram (solo dance performance for 2.5+ hours), she has been invited to perform at prestigious Indian temples in Guruvayur and Chidambaram. She is a member of Hyline, the award winning Westlake High School varsity dance team. Based on her lived experiences, Tara is passionate about dance and its impact on teen health and mind. She has delivered lecture-demonstrations on this topic with Wonderful India and Leap of Joy and taught dance at orphanages in tribal India with the Miracle Foundation and camps with Andy Roddick Foundation. She is one of the youngest to summit Kilimanjaro in 2022.
