Kyle Sisk
Kyle currently serves as CTO at the Described and Captioned Media Program (DCMP) and as the project director for one of DCMP's US Department of Education grant activities. He started his educational media accessibility career with DCMP in 2009, quickly developing a passion for the work. DCMP is a one-of-a-kind educational video streaming platform designed for children with sensory disabilities. Kyle and his team develop innovative workflows to improve the quality and efficiency of captioning, audio description, and American Sign Language production; along with the tech stack required to deliver accessible media on web, OTT and native apps. He manages ongoing content partnerships with major educational media producers including PBS, Paramount Global, Rotfeld Productions (FOX E/I), Fred Rogers Productions, Complexly, Tested, Learn Bright, Emily Calandrelli, and many others -- each of whom provide content to the DCMP platform in exchange for accessibility production services. Kyle lives in South Carolina with his wife and three children.
