Shamita Johnson

Dr. Shamita Johnson is a beacon of excellence in international sustainable development and education. Her career spans four continents impacting thousands. As a Fulbright Scholar in Senegal, she collaborated with Cheikh Anta Diop University, laying the groundwork for global connections, research and cultural understanding. She managed significant projects with Save the Children and Africare, leading multimillion-dollar initiatives with USAID, UNHCR, and USDA. Currently, she is an international educator enhancing global literacy and cultural competency, and serves as an Education Ambassador with the Council on Foreign Relations. Dr. Johnson's work prepares students to thrive in an interconnected world, shaping the next generation of global leaders.
