Rachael Baker
Rachael is an associate professor of biochemistry at Calvin University. Her research includes curriculum development to engage students with virtue formation and resources development for faculty to address gender-based microaggressions in science classes. She is co-founder of the Rare Disease Network, a collaborative organization that provides support and education to local Rare Disease communities. Rachael is also the director of professional development for the Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education. In this position, she develops training opportunities and works with the over 300 member institutions to support efforts to implement vocation-informed programs on campus. Rachael holds a PhD in biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
