Rebecca Hite
Rebecca Hite is the Associate Professor of STEM Education at Texas Tech University at the department of Curriculum and Instruction. She has a PhD in science education from North Carolina State University and is the Director of the Center for Advocacy in Teacher Leadership of Youth and Schools with Technology (CATALYST). Her research focusses on the cognitive and non-cognitive affordances of extended reality technologies with an emphasis on underserved populations. Dr. Hite has over 15 years of experience teaching and now conducts research on students with ADHD and their use of XR. She collaborates extensively with educational technology companies and educators, working to integrate innovative approaches to learning into classrooms and support diverse student needs.
