Kelly Escobar
Kelly Escobar, Ph.D., is the Managing Director of Early Childhood at Robin Hood, New York City’s largest poverty fighting organization and funder of early childhood. Dr. Escobar leads Robin Hood’s efforts to promote optimal outcomes for children from birth to age 5 through partnerships with community organizations, government and public systems, and other philanthropic funders. Before joining Robin Hood, Dr. Escobar was a developmental psychologist and interventionist, working with NYC community organizations and the NYC Department of Education to implement culturally relevant and community developed interventions promoting adult-child interactions that increased low-income children’s language development.
