Asia Lyons
Dr. Lyons was a K-12 educator in the Denver Metro Area and an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado - Denver School of Education and Human Development. She has a doctorate in Leadership for Educational Equity. Her research focuses on how racism-related stress and racial battle fatigue impact Black educators and families. She co-founded and co-facilitates the Black Educator Wellness Cohort, conducting free monthly wellness sessions in the Denver Metro Area. Finally, she hosts "The Exit Interview: A Podcast for Black Educators," amplifying former educators' experiences to inform stakeholders about retaining Black talent in education.
