The U.S. Is Made Up of All of US: Having Conversations with People We Don’t Agree With
In a world fractured by political divides, it’s hard not to offend or be offended. Conservative teachers and leaders often face opposition and judgement for defending traditional values. Progressive educators and leaders are often on the frontlines of defending inclusivity, compassion, and justice. Seems like almost everyone is either mad or done with it.
What’s the way out of this? We need better ways to talk and listen to each other.
Join nationally-celebrated James Miles and Mike Kleba, known for authentic, inspiring, and practical workshops, in a hands-on session that provides strategies to confidently engage in conversations with those who challenge your worldview. Strengthen your ability to listen effectively, ask better questions, and lead with conviction to create unity and understanding without compromising your values. Stop waiting for the politics to blow over. Impactful teachers and leaders have to engage!
