The Catalytic Power of Veterans on Campus

200,000 active-duty service members transition out of the military service and into higher education and workforce settings every year. They bring with them game-changing leadership experience, the ability to build teams and work effectively within them, a mission-oriented work ethic, and a proven ability to learn - under pressure! - how to do difficult things that they didn't already know how to do. This session will explore the myriad and extraordinary ways in which veterans change the chemistry of college campuses - for the better! - and what we should all be doing to support them.
