When Anti-LGBTQ Activists Target Teachers

NBC News’ hit podcast, "Grapevine," tells the story of a former English teacher who came under attack after a mother publicly accused her of convincing her child to change genders, in part by providing the teen with a copy of the LGBTQ-affirming graphic novel The Prince and the Dressmaker. The journalists are joined by the teacher to discuss the impact of anti-LGBTQ campaigns on teachers and children, and by a Texas educator and co-founder of the Texas Freedom to Read Project, which is mobilizing communities to fight on behalf of students and educators.
