Who You Talking to?: A Black Girl Dialogue

In the words of Dr. Bettina Love, we all need co-conspirators to help us make a real difference and move the needle. As a co-conspirator for the success of Black girls, educators must be prepared and committed to meaningful dialogue about them. This session will provide experiential knowledge of Black girls while highlighting the experiences of Black girls within school systems and their interactions with school personnel from teachers, counselors, and administrators. Education professionals will be equipped with strategies to better advocate for this subset of marginalized populations.
