SHIFTing the Conversation: UT’s Zero-Proof Community Culture

This session is part of the special 2024 Crossover Day. Attendance is open to all SXSW EDU badgeholders as well as all SXSW badgeholders. As always, SXSW strongly believes in the power of mixing creative communities.

This panel discussion rethinks the agents of change that shape higher education campus community cultures. Through this wider lens that includes students, faculty, staff, and local citizens, we explore how UT's SHIFT Maker program is redefining campus wellbeing, one zero-proof cocktail at a time. Conversation centers around developing partnerships outside of institutional confines to create dialogues around additive versus subtractive wellness practices that influence academic performance, personal development, and social engagement.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
