AI's Impact on Students of Color: Rethinking Digital Wellness

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools continue to be used in schools, they also raise concerns about bias and use that disproportionately affect students of color. This session highlights the practical ways AI tools currently impact student engagement from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. It will also address ethical concerns, namely student plagiarism fears and issues with facial recognition tools. We close by sharing positive student experiences with AI and practical ways to ensure a more inclusive AI future.
