AI: Avoiding the Next Digital Divide
This session is part of the special 2024 Crossover Day. Attendance is open to all SXSW EDU badgeholders as well as all SXSW badgeholders. As always, SXSW strongly believes in the power of mixing creative communities.
Could the emerging use of AI in schools be the next digital divide? This panel will explore the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and education equity and its impact on students of color and other students from low-income backgrounds. In this session, attendees will learn steps to ensure academic tools, pedagogies, and content reflects the broad cultural and neurodiversity of student populations and ways to prevent the emergence of a new digital divide.
