Anti-Ableist Tools for Inclusive Art & Maker Education
As designers of learning spaces and experiences, we can create conditions that either enable or disable the full participation of students with and without disabilities. Learn about new tools that support educators in adapting hands-on art and making activities for learners with disabilities. Rooted in anti-ableist principles and drawing on Universal Design for Learning frameworks, these tools and insights were developed over the course of a year with significant input from disabled youth, caregivers, school staff, museum educators, and researchers.
