Danielle Linzer
Danielle Linzer (she/her) is the Senior Director for Education, Learning, and Research at Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and MuseumLab. Danielle has worked to advance accessibility and human-centered design in museums and informal learning environments nationally. She has led education, outreach, community engagement, and access initiatives at multiple museums, including The Andy Warhol Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Lower East Side Tenement Museum. She served as the inaugural chair of the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh IDEA Council in 2020 and was appointed a Senior DEAI Fellow for the American Alliance of Museums from 2019-2021. She also served as the former co-chair of the Museum Access Consortium in New York City. Her digital accessibility initiatives have been honored with awards from the Jodi Mattes Trust, the American Alliance of Museums, Museums and the Web, and Kids in Museums. Linzer received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and holds an M.S. in leadership in museum education from Bank Street College of Education.
