The C.R.E.A.T.E. (Collaboration to Realize Equity and Teach Engineering) is a collaboration between Austin-based technology company, NI, and two Austin-area nonprofits, Thinkery and Boys and Girls Club of the Austin Area. Their goal? Inspire and prepare a diverse pipeline of future engineers. They are two years in and have a lot to share - what’s worked, what’s not, and how they’re leveraging the always evolving and rapid innovation in technology to drive interactive engineering design experiences for local young learners from often underrepresented and underestimated groups throughout Austin.
