Student-athletes are under a microscope, with every single move & social media like tracked by fans, opponents, & the media. When large, unsettling racial strife or the unfortunate establishment of oppressive laws occur, student-athletes are thrust into the spotlight as activists, with minimal training & preparedness. "Accidental Activists: Student-Athletes Fighting for Change" will feature former student-athletes, athletic department staff, & DEI professionals who stumbled into activism & their journey navigating athletics, politics, and leadership while striving for meaningful change.
