#CenteringBlackness

Featured Session: Centering Blackness: Educate... Inform & Innovate!

This session is part of the special 2024 Crossover Day. Attendance is open to all SXSW EDU badgeholders as well as all SXSW badgeholders. As always, SXSW strongly believes in the power of mixing creative communities.

Education, technology, and innovation are at the heart of The HistoryMakers' mission to effectively center black voices and excellence in today's classroom. When students do not see themselves reflected in history, they don't see a pathway to make history. Join this conversation to hear how digital archives can transform how history is taught such that it can inform and respond to today's 21st century students.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
