Creativity is a teachable, in-demand skill for the future of work far beyond the arts. Although new outputs from Artificial Intelligence like DALLE and ChatGPT can seem creative, the original ideas for its use come from the human imagination. Based on neuroscience research revealing that when minds wander people produce more creative results, we’ve been using the technique of Purposeful Daydreaming with hundreds of K-16 students and have seen similar benefits, closing the often-ignored creativity gap
